Creativity for Two

How fun to have Melissa helping me polish some metal pieces in the studio yesterday! 

The creative process can often times be rather solitary, so it’s really nice to collaborate with another visual-type person.  One of the highlights of being a professional artist is brainstorming ideas and talking about materials, processes, and inspiration with other artists.  I always am enriched by the creativity of others.

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes attributed to Plato – “You can learn more about a person in an hour of play than you can from a lifetime of conversation”.

I think that’s so true and “play” with creatives can be amazing!
